Despite being a little expensive, Im very happy with the large number of knots, as well as the easy to follow directions. As an added bonus, the app has instructions for tying a variety of ties! Definitely a good purchase.

Thorough and detailed info on each knot, including safety info and very clear guidance on tieing.

The user can pause the animated knot at any time while it is being tied. The user is also able to see how the knot is tied when flipped (reversed). Very useful if you are slow at learning knots like me.

Im so happy that I stumbled upon this app. Other reviewers will be more in depth with their reviews, but I just wanted to add my voice to the list of satisfied customers. I love the ability to flip the video sequences and the explanations and possible issues related to each not listed in the info section are invaluable. This is an essential app for the do-it-your-selfer.

I showed this app to staff at the BSAs Philmont Scout Ranch- all the staff and scouts who saw it absolutely loved it. Sadly I said it probably only cost a few dollars because I dont typically spend much on apps, but have used this so many times its worth it.

Deleted my other knots apps. Cant live without it!

The application is well worth the money. Taking my fire one class at the moment and this has helped me a lot. Some knots are named differently then they are called in class so it would be nice to have multiple names for knots that have them. Also video support would be very very useful as well instead of following a step by step photos.

Awesome app! The step by step playback is beyond helpful. Nice to be able to save favorite knots for quick reference. Tons of knots. Great explanations so you know what each knot is used for. Highly impressed with this well thought out app. Easily worth the $5 price tag.

This app is, by far, the best knot app available. The easy to follow picture and written instructions make learning new knots easy and refreshing your memory on useful, but less uses knots quick and sure. In addition to the clear tying instructions, each not has a detailed description, history and background.

I love this game it teaches you so much I do knot tieing for a hobby Im only 11 but Im really good at it

Great way to learn!

I have tried a couple apps for knots and grog knots stands way out! I am a amateur climber and knot tying hobbiest and this app is very useful. Great selection of knots with clear written and animated directions. I especially like the info button for each knot. It displays a little history and/or information about where the knot comes from as well as common uses and similar knots. Thanks!

Have been using this app for years and love it for the intuitive sequential photos, the detailed discussions and history and the organization/classification of the knots.

Awesome simple app for knots. Had this app for 5 years... very useful. Needs an update for newer knots though.

Ive tried the others but find this to be the best one for clearly illustrating each knot.
